The Area

The property is on the edge of the Residential/Industrial boundary of Arndell Park in Blacktown City Municipality. Blacktown has two established large adjoining industrial areas being Huntingwood and Arndell Park, each on opposite sides of the Great Western Highway, close to the M4 and M7 intersection. A high school and a primary school also adjoin this site, which is located on the corner of Holbeche and Walters Roads.

Capital’s investment team procured this site after a targeted search for a suitable industrial land investment. Initially the land was zoned ‘retail and residential’.

Capital Corporation successfully negotiated the sale of this site to Aldi Supermarkets, where they subsequently located one of their very first retail stores in Sydney. Aldi has since progressed their market presence to become an integral part of the retail landscape.
