Norwest wins global award

“The Norwest Business Park in Sydney’s Hills District, jointly owned by FKP and Mulpha Australia, was the runner-up in the Master Plan category at the International Real Estate Federation FIABCI Prix D’Excellence Awards for 2007. Accepting the award in Barcelona, Norwest Land’s General manager, Peter Gray, said the global recognition was a testament to the estate’s success. Over the past 15 years it has become home to 450 businesses, 25,000 employees and 4,700 residents.
Past FlABCI award winners include Millennium Park in the US, the HansaBanka Headquarters in Latvia and Southbank in Brisbane.”

The North-West T-way is a NSW Government initiative to provide western Sydney with bus services that improves public transport access to employment, recreational, shopping, education and medical services in the area.

It was opened in April 2007 and has made a positive impact on public transport to and from Norwest Business Park.

The North-West T-way comprises:
A 17km link from Parramatta to Rouse Hill Town Centre (opening soon), adjacent to Old Windsor Road.
A 7km link from Blacktown to Parklea adjacent to Sunnyholt Road. This link is under construction. Buses will run along Sunnyholt Road until this link opens.
